We previously posted about the first release of Android 3.2.1 just over a month ago, but apparently that wasn’t all Sony had to offer us before the next major Android update, 4.0, or “Ice Cream Sandwich” to give it  its more favourable name.

The update is only 19MB, so should only take a couple of minutes on a decent internet connection.

New Stuff (Tablet P)

1 – Requires “Party Streaming” compatible devices

New Stuff (Tablet S)

1 – Requires “Party Streaming” compatible devices
2 – Requires Female USB A to micro USB adapter (SGPUC1)

You should get notified of a new update, which will guide you through the installation, if not, we have you covered with this guide:

  1. Tap the time on the bottom-right of the screen,
  2. Tap the time again to bring up the basic settings,
  3. Tap settings.
  4. On the left settings menu tap About Tablet
  5. On the right-hand menu tap System Update, this will check for the latest version available.
  6. Once updated, the Android Version on the right-hand menu should read 3.2.1 (release2)
